Would have liked to be asked how firm I would like the massage. It was not very firm :)
Also the lunch included with the spa day is misleading as the lunch doesn’t include drinks at all which is not specified. On the day they were not accepting cards so if you didn’t have cash you could not have a beverage with your ‘lunch’

We were very disappointed with our massages. It seemed like the therapist couldn’t be bothered, they didn’t ask what pressure we wanted so during the massage I asked if she could go firmer but unfortunately the pressure didn’t change, it was very light. The facilities are nice and the reception staff and waitresses were friendly. We did enjoy our lunch but was disappointed that the £15 towards our bill did not include drinks? The food from the bakery was unavailable which again was disappointing

Venue is lovely. I sat out in the sun with the view of the golf course and water fountain.
The firmness and techniques of my massage were perfect. Relaxing, and I could feel her working out a couple of knots in my back. That evening and for a couple of days after, my back was a little sore, but the day after it, I felt the happiest I’ve been in a long time! They say people with back problems are so much more likely to suffer from things like depression, and I wonder if my tension was released!

It was new experience for me. It was not as 'deep' as some massages I have had, but it was very relaxing and I enjoyed it. Contrary to speculation, it didn't involve being beaten with bamboo, but using the bamboo to pressure the muscles in a unique way. Amy is professional and reassuring, checking in at various points during the treatment. She explained the treatment fully and I felt very comfortable with the whole experience.
