First visit at Slik for a leg, bikini, arm and underarm wax.
Positives: nice and clean environment, the therapist was very good and the wax itself was quick and as pain-free as could be.
Negatives: treatwell suggested that the above treatment would be £45, however at the end of my treatment I was asked to pay £79.50. This was because the description of "bikini wax" was misleading, and what is actually included in the £45 deal is only a bikini line wax. This was not made clear to me during the treatment. I was offered the option of having strip wax or hot wax for the bikini area, but I was not told there was a price difference and hot wax is actually twice as expensive as strip wax. Due to these hidden charges I ended up paying much more than I was expecting.
Overall, the wax was good, but if I had known it would cost me this much, I would have gone elsewhere as the primary reason i booked here was because it seemed cheaper than other salons.
