Did a neat job but had to wait 20 minutes as the booking hadn't been 'confirmed' this didn't show up my end so I assumed my appointment was at the booked time.
Eyebrow Waxing
The salon is well-located and easy to find. The lady who did my manicure was friendly and chatty. However the manicure itself was not very satisfactory. Firstly, the filing was unevenly done. When I asked the lady to re-do a few nails, they were still wonky. I eventually took the nail file and did it myself.
Then the painting was very messily done. I have an uneven line at the top of each nail around my cuticle. Also far too much varnish was used on each layer – I chose a pale colour so it was always going to need three coats which needs to be thinly done. However as it was put on too thickly, it bubbled and bunched up.
Finally the top coat was not evenly painted over the nails to the sides. You can see lines on each side of my nails where the top coat has just been left sitting in the middle in a stripe. She did offer to re-do/try and sort this, but I had to leave as was on my lunch break and needed to get back.
I don’t think this was worth £25.
