great, the girl who did my nails was so nice and helpful despite having a busy morning. great job will return
The place was clean and the girl who did the waxing was very nice and skilled. We chatted and she made me feel comfortable during the session.
I booked there for my mum who doesn't speak English but btw their Portuguese and their Italian, everybody managed to understand each other and they did a fantastic job, toner and highlights were just what she needed, no doubt next time whe visits, she will be back and I am booking an appointment soon too.
Second visit to Sara at Brasil Hair. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, pain-free wax in N4. The salon is modern, clean and warm, plus only 1 min walk from Finsbury Park station.
The salon is a lovely and the staff are warm and friendly unfortunately I would not advise getting Balayage colouring done here. The lady doing my hair though lovely was overbooked which is never a good thing when you are getting your hair coloured. Her english was not very good so I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair, which was a subtle balayage effect. Once the colour was on she was forced to start another client which must have impacted how close she could monitor my development as I was left hanging around for a while and having to query that the bleach should not be left on that long. When it was dryed it was more obvious that the technique they use is definately more of a 'Ombre' technique which creates a very different, stark contrast and dip dyed look which was what I was hoping to avoid. The picture I showed only had very slight hints of blond, yet I ended up with the majority of my hair nearly white blond and worse the top section is very brassy. The colour got worse after washing and in bright day light its almost orange even after leaving a good silver shampoo on to try and neutralise. I must note though that the blowdry was very good and probly one of the best I have had so im guessing other services at the salon are fine. The blowdry and salon evening lights masked the true nature of the colour so I must point out I did not approach my stylist to advise I was not happy with the colour and give them a chance to suggest how to rectify. But then again in those situations its often only when you get home it sinks in whats happened to your hair and by then you dont want them coming near you with bleach again!
