Absolutely awful. Unprofessional and did not receive the treatment I booked. Arrived and was taken down to a messy room in the basement. The technician couldn’t find what she was looking for so left me and I overheard her talking to another member of staff about what she should do as she didn’t think she had the right tools. She came back in and kept commenting on how thick my gels were even though they were normal. She also mentioned that they didn’t soak nails at the salon. After filing my nails, she then left the room again with no reason and when she came back she said that she could try to soak them with some nail varnish remover she just found - not strong acetone. The technician made no attempt to properly apologise and instead of admitting that they didn’t have the right equipment, made me feel awkward and like it was my fault. I left with my nails looking worse than when I arrived after being at the salon for over 20 minutes. Honestly the worst salon experience ever. I went across the road to another salon and had them taken off no problem which cost me a further £10.
The salon doesn’t really look like the photos, it’s much more dinghy and the lights were flickering a lot which made it feel like an unkept basement. The beautician was heavy handed which made the wax unpleasant. The end result was good however.
Quick and efficient service - only thing is you pay by bank transfer and cash only so need to have money on you!
Efficient, good service and clean environment and relatively painless wax. Would definitely go again!
