I organised my best friends hen party at cucumba on Saturday and just wanted to say they really worked their magic and I am so grateful for all the extras they did to ensure it was a day to remember. It was a complete nightmare to organise but cucumba party organiser helped sort it out and let us bring our own nibbles, drinks, decorations etc to personalise the space and keep costs to a minimum as most of the hens were on a budget. I don't usually write reviews unless to complain but I owe you guys big time - especially Sarah our party organiser as it was a last minute booking after another venue let us down. Stroke of luck as we ended up saving as a result. So sorry we forgot to leave a tip as we few into the taxi (we were so late for the restaurant. Got carried away) but I am hoping you got the flowers we sent. Yes that was us ! Thank you again from me and the girls

After 8 years of attending Cucumba, it still amazes me how brilliant they are. I had my usual a 'Brazilian Wax', the staff are always super friendly and my treatment is done really quickly. I still can't believe, for a West End shop, there prices are reallyreasonable and still have remained the same for years. Thanks guys!

This was my second trip to Cucumba, and I'm sorry to say I was quite disappointed this time around.
I decided to treat myself to a gel manicure before my holiday, which I only do on special occasions due to cost, and at £48 I really expected a more luxurious experience and better end-result.
The first thing to say is that the staff at Cucumba are all very friendly, so in that respect it is a pleasant experience... however, I arrived 5 mins ahead of my appointment start time, and had to wait 10 mins to be taken to my treatment and then a further 10 mins while my therapist tried to track down the gel colour I had selected. This meant that the appointment lasted much longer than I was expecting.
The glass of water I agreed to on arrival never arrived, and the people who arrived after me were offered wine... which was not given to me as an option.
Their set up at the salon also means that there is no table to rest your hands on, so everything is done on your therapists lap, just with a cushion on the top. This was fine, until it came to balancing the UV drier, which was very precarious and unsafe.
Given that the price of a gel manicure is considerably more than a regular manicure, I expected a full manicure just with gel instead of polish... however, although my therapist did some minimal cuticle work, there was no massage, or lotion which meant it was a much less relaxing experience.
I have to say when the treatment was finished I really did love the look of my nails, however three had chipped within 4 days... which is really poor going for a gel manicure.
Sad to say that - for nails at least - I won't be going back.

Booked the Pick n Mix . Brilliant. I had bikini wax, underarm and a manicure for £33.50. Bit shocked at how quick the waxing was but in a good way as she finished the waxing in around 10minutes , definitely the fastest and least painful ever. Really good job too. lovely friendly team which really puts you at ease when you have your privates on show. My therapist went out of her way to find a colour i would like which has never happened anywhere else i have been.. manicure was express but that was my misunderstanding as when i checked again it did say shape, buff & paint. Fab result though and still think its great value. Great little find! I will def return ...

went to cucumba for a 1hr dermalogica facial and eyebrow threading today and i am now in love with the place. therapists in there are lovely atomspher was calm and really down to earth..loved the products in the facial it was so relaxing and no pushy sales afterwards. didnt want it to end and as for the threading i was so scared and my threapist reasured me and talked to me through the whole treatment and the out come was amazing!!...definitely recomend and love the fact they gave me a student discount and have discount nights
