The only thing missing from this was having the dead skin removed with skin blade - shame they only used the file. And my cuticles could have been neater but overall really pleasant spa and good service
Not at all what I had expected, but very efficient. Waxing (of facial areas at least) takes place sitting in a normal chair with head tilted back, in full view of the rest of the salon. Definitely an 'express' treatment, but adequate. Not much care taken with getting the shorter hairs, though, so quicker-than-usual visible regrowth, and a slight skin tear. Good for last-minute, urgent treatments, but not somewhere I'd go for relaxation/pampering.
the location is great, very central to soho. guests sit in comfortable chairs rather than at a technician's table (for mani/pedi/eyebrow wax), which felt a bit too informal at first, but actually was quite nice. the technicians are very personable, they listen closely to what you want and don't try to overrun your preferences with their opinions. they're also are OK to let you sit in silence with a digital leash or magazine, or have a chat on whatever topics you strike up. the prices feel a wee bit too high for what you get (manicure), but i suppose that comes with the area.
I went in for the Dry Skin Busting Foot Package Incl. Massage. Have to say it was so-so. It's a good pit-stop after work but would not go there to treat myself at the weekend. The treatment was fine, not more nor less then what I paid for. Feet came out smooth so happy about that! I sat down for about 15 minutes to let the paint dry, got different drops put on them, and was assured by the staff it would be fine. They put cling-film on so I could put my socks and boots on, however, when I got home they were smudged and not shiny. Unfortunately I need to get them re-painted.
A great facial at a great spa. The actual room was a little noisy (only separated by curtains) but otherwise it was great and my skin felt wonderful. I also really appreciated the therapist's totally "no pressure" approach. Not once was i told i needed to buy some ridiculously expensive product - a first!
