i had the 20 minute massage, and it really was top notch. i was seen straight away and the masseuse was exactly what i needed, applied enough pressure, always asking how i was doing, i would definitely recommend
Cucumba is a great, centrally located salon for a pit stop treatment. Staff are great, and I was really pleased with my pedicure. The atmosphere is great and relaxed - maybe not the type of venue you would go to for a super relaxing, secluded treatment, but that isn't how they market themselves. Wahanda deal was fantastic value as well, I would definitely recommend and return!
From the moment I walked in staff was really friendly and communicative about the treatment & process. Overall really happy with the facial, especially with the extractions! Thanks - will definitely go back
Highly disappointing. My feet would have gotten much more care if I instead spent the same money on a nice foot cream. When I arrived, something was wrong with the system and they could not find my booking. No apology and I was made to stand for 10 min while they looked for it. This was followed by whispers between the therapist and the receptionist trying to figure out what it is they are supposed to do. The therapist was a sweet girl but obviously a trainee who barely knew what she was doing. She removed some dry skin (no result visible) then rubbed some cheap fruit lotion into my feet (no massage whatsoever! that was the whole pedicure, about 10 min) and left to get her colleague who 'can paint my nails much faster'. The polish was then shabbily and unevenly applied. The only drink offered was water in a plastic cup, which the therapist later spilled and did not offer me another one. Horrible experience.
I booked a ten minute massage for me and my friend, and we were really happy with it! It was brief, but the therapist was really effective in that time, working on my stiff neck and back with good pressure . We had to wait a little at first (which is probably a draw back if you were in a hurry with a ten minute massage) and we did sit in in a chair in what was effectively a corridor downstairs, but really, what mattered was the massage itself. My friend enjoyed it as well.
