My friend and I had a lovely relaxing afternoon. The staff were very helpful and offered additional advice about other treatments. There was a calm atmosphere and we didn't feel at all rushed. It would have been nice to have been offered other refreshments than water, but the overall experience was very good.
Cucumba is well located and easy to find. It's quite close to my work which made it the perfect place for me to have a pedicure in the evening. It was a little bit tight on space inside especially when people were waiting for their various treatments but both the receptionist and the therapist were great and couldn't have been more helpful and attentive.
The therapist who did my pedicure did a fantastic job, it could be because I haven't had regular pedicures in the past but it's a long time since my feet have looked and felt this good!. She also gave me some good tips for keeping my feet in tip top condition and recommended some products which I will try out. Overall it was really good value for money and I will definitely be returning for another pedicure and may also try some of the other treatments on offer.
This was supposed to be a 45 minute treatment and we were there for 2 hours. Lucky we weren't in a rush to go anywhere. Our pedicured toes were well protected for the journey home, however, and are still looking good.
The premises were OK though the treatment itself felt a bit rushed with therapists changing over half way through so there were a lot of distractions. The phone kept rining and being answered during the session so it was not so relaxing.
The massage itself was fine, but the experience was lacking a little. The massages don't take place in a separate room, rather behind a curtain and the music was a little too 'trance' to relax.
They were also late in starting our treatment.
Would be fine for a couple of girls wanting a pick me up, but it's not really a guy-friendly place.
