Before booking I asked the salon if they can cater for hijabi women, to which they said they could. I specifically stated I wanted three private hair treatments, as my sisters and I wear hijab. I was absolutely mortified when I had already removed my hijab that the male manager was walking around. The staff were slow to provide screens for my sister and she was so upset by this. I was eventually moved to a private room and my haircut is nice, but I won’t return after this mortifying experience.
