If you are a bit anxious about Covid 19, maybe try somewhere else for now as the hygiene is a little lacking.
1) Given it’s fairly close contact, I asked the therapist to put a mask on as she wasn’t going to. She was going to thread as normal using her mouth to support the thread (er nooo) rather than neck as it’s more comfortable.
2) I didn’t see her wash her hands before threading.
3) I really doubt the brow comb (or scissors) is sterilised before or after as it was lying on the table.
The shop is basic and you have your nails done on the armrests of a chair. That’s not a huge issue. Now the positives: friendly staff and nice hand massage and manicure routine, cuticles removal/lotions etc. It was very cheap. The negative: the shaping was terrible, she went vertical with the file so I had lots of ridges and had to fix it myself at home. The polish is not shellac, it’s quite runny and chipped after a week. The application wasnt great either. I guess you get what you pay for
