The beauty salon is housed beneath a lovely little boutique hair salon, being in this location does make it quite a small space, though this doesn't hinder the client's experience. My beautician was very knowledgeable and a true expert of the field. Plesent conversation throughout, I would visit again - walkable distance from bond street and baker street station.
the salon is at the basement of an hairdresser studio and it looks simple but ok.
I had eyebrow threading and it was ok, but not as good as I was expecting.
The therapist was nice and bubbly.
I waited for 15 minutes because the thrapist was in with another customer, which was fine. Did not appreciate though that she compensated these 15 minutes from my massage time. After the session was over and I put on my watch I realised that it had lasted for only 45 mins whereas I had paid for 1 hr.
The massage was ok, but the room was very small and claustrophobic
The treatment room is on the basement floor of the hairdressers. The room is not too bad, it’s small with a very low ceiling but quite cosy. But there is no proper table to sit at to have your nails done so you’re sitting at the treatment bed. You can’t put your legs under the table. So I sat very uncomfortably for an hour with my legs crossed on the side.
I booked a Shellac Manicure and had a choice of 6 Shellac colours and 6 Daisy colours. It didn’t bother me as I did want a simple plain dark colour but if you fancy a special colour you will be disappointed.
My cuticles were pushed back and cut off without any soaking or a cuticle cream applied. I have never had it done this way and I’m not sure it should be done like that. Prior to applying the gels a product was put on my nails. I had this done before but never with this product. It smelled quite badly and stung the whole time, especially when under the UV lamp and it wasn’t a pleasant feeling. The smell stayed the whole day.
The end result was ok, my nails were filed as I wanted and the colour is ok. The girl who did my nails was very friendly too but I will not be going back.
