Not sure why it says manicure in the description, but I had a shellac pedicure done. Not impressed at all. I paid nearly £60 for a pedicure (£47 + £10 for the removal of the shellac) and I’m not coming back. The salon is in a nice location, it’s Central and convenient, however, that’s about it. I entered to what looked like a hair salon (I was expecting nails only kind of a place, judging from the name) and was told to go downstairs where I’ll see someone. Someone was the only person in sort of a downstairs part of hair salon, which was totally empty, so quite strange too. I was taken to a room where you’d have a massage or a facial done, there I was sitting on a chair in the corner next to the ‘bed’ where you’d like if you had a different procedure done. No water/coffee offered, no magazines, no reception, basically an awkward hour, since I didn’t go there to talk to the technician, I went there to relax and enjoy my pampering. The pedicure was done in an efficient mannier aka quickly, however, it’s definitely not the best pedicure I’ve ever had. The lady was polite and was trying to chat me up but as mentioned above, I don’t go to chat and talk about my life to the people I won’t see again. All in all, it’s an ok place to go if you desperately need your nails done, it’s not dodgy or dirty, however, it’s definitely not high end or welcoming. I’m not going back.
Really happy with my treatment, my nails came out looking great and the nail technician was professional and friendly. My only comment would be that the venue is difficult to find even when using google maps
