The masseur listened to what I wanted and concentrated on what was wrong with my ankle and hip. Very satisfied with treatment and advice.
I visit Soma because it's so close to my house it's really convenient and as I go regularly I've built up a nice rapport with the massage therapist Jacob. As a dancer I go for deep tissue / remedial massage so it's not a relaxing spa experience but my muscles feel great afterwards. Jacob always suggests exercises and ways I can help myself feel better. It's not a fancy spa but a great, local, friendly place if you need a quick pick me up. I've also had a seated massage with Pete which was great to target a specific problem area for 15 minutes and made a huge difference to my mobility. I'm also thinking of trying out the reflexology as my feet get alot of abuse from dancing in heels! If you are a local I would totally recommend coming down to Soma for a treatment.
the massage i had with my therapist Richard was amazing. i had so much pain on my left arm, after my massage i was so happy words could not describe how i was feeling. i could use my arm and my body feels refresh no pain. i will be going back on Monday for a repeat because my arm and neck feels tight. well done to the therapist and the team
This was my first time at Soma and I had a deep tissue massage - it was excellent! Completely zoned me out afterwards. I would really recommend!
Great little place, really conscientious therapist who made every effort to understand what I wanted and deliver accordingly! One of the best messages I e ever had! She did like to chat though- even during the massage itself- so if you want to completely switch off and avoid the small talk, may be worth mentioning at the start.
