Hi, I went to Sonia's in Purley this weekend and was extremely disappointed. I went there for the convince of it being a walk in salon, after my normal lady was busy. I had an arm & under arm wax, face wax and my eyebrows threaded. The lady who treated me was inexperienced and unprofessional to say the least. She was very heavy handed when doing my eyebrows and face wax. Everyone knows when you get you face waxed, the products you use after are important as the skin is really sensitive after. After the face wax she used OIL. Who uses oil? Normal professional places use an aloe vera cooling lotion. (despite being heavy handed she moved quite quickly before i could stop her applying the oil). She cut my skin under my eyebrows, and didn't apologise, and applied anti bac to it? I asked her about it, and she said it was 'alright'. When waxing my arms, she asked me to pass her the wax and dip the wooden applicator in the wax and pass it to her (as she was on the other side), which is highly unprofessional. On top of it all, I paid £40 for all these treatments, and they didn't offer a discount because of the cuts. Rather than complain I just wanted to get out of there. For an arm wax its fine, but dont trust them with face, I now have a red rash all over my cheeks. Very unprofessional.
