This was the first time I have been in the Salon - it’s absolutely lovely and the girls were great - they even put makeup on my red eyebrows after the threading.
The staff are lovely and make sure you’re feeling comfortable. The skin solver treatment is completely tailored to your skin and leaves it feeling beautifully soft. Thank you Emma!
I had a manicure and pedicure- the end results of which were good.
The manicure stations are a little exposed, on the shop floor, so not a luxurious and cosseted feeling during treatment.
The things that let the treatments down were:
1. The girl I had not be particularly present- starring in to space and seeming not that interested in what she was doing. There needs to be the appreciation that the whole experience is important.
2. The foot filing and scrubs used for the pedicure and manicure were almost useless. There were very few beads in the scrubs and although the accompanying massages were nice, I didn't feel that the 'scrub' part of the treatment was effective and so more attention could have been made to foot skin softening.
3. The nail files were all used. There should be a new nail file for each new client! This is how fungal nail infections are spread. This is unacceptable.
All in all it was a well priced and acceptably pleasant experience, but there could be more rigorous hygiene with the nail files and attention to detail in future.
