Enjoyable break , taking in a concert at the Palace Theatre one night.
Friendly staff and comfortable traditional
accommodation with convenient free parking.
Good breakfast in a stylish setting overlooking the garden. I fancied a light evening meal and was very pleased with my choice of two starters. Super value Executive room taking advantageof a "2 nights for the price of one" B and B promotion. Earlier check in and later check out than most hotels. The rain even held off until my departure !

An anniversary nightmare! DO NOT book this spa:
*emailed the spa 6 before arrival to swap treatments times… no reply! I also called daily.
*treatments were supposed to finished at 11.05 but ended at 10.55
*Sick assistant who kept coughing and had leave the room during our treatment
* Sauna and steam room filthy. There were toe nail clipping on the steam room floor!
*Hot tub filthy inside and out. Spiders webs and dust all around the shelter. The water had black bits floating in it. Jets broken
