Made to feel so unwelcome and my mom booked this as a birthday treat. The prosecco was not in our room on arrival and they came to check to clarify before bringing a bottle. The room was freezing and they wasn’t interested

The afternoon tea, sauna, treatments and hot tub are great. It is just the service at reception that leaves a lot to be desired. It took FIVE emails to get an email confirmation of the treatments and hot tub. Upon arrival, we were 'greeted' by a miserable receptionist who couldn't even manage a smile. She didn't listen to me, or read the booking correctly, and directed me to the treatment area rather than the bar area for the afternoon tea which was our first activity. She wasn't apologetic.
