Very good value for money. Lunch was amazing so much again excellent value for money. The staff were so friendly and helpful and could not do enough for you, I would definitely visit again
The spa itself it's much to talk about. Plain decor and not enough loungers for guests. Some facilities not working properly. We were assigned cream tea but never asked if we'd prefer the lunch. However the treatments themselves were lovely, amazing facial and massage. Truly relaxing.
We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming & spa facilities but were very disappointed with the lunch, as food poor and we had to wait over an hour to receive it.
Spa staff were very welcoming and the facilities are good. Smaller than I thought it would be but all very lovely, the heated loungers were very fab!
The spa lounge wasn't very well stocked when we were there and no one around to ask for more chilled water in the flavoured water jugs or milk so couldn't have a cup of tea. But the coffee machine was good and the lunch was ok although we didn't get a spoon for the dessert. All very small things but they add up to not giving it 5 stars. Worth the visit and a very luxurious looking hotel.
We booked the 'Friday Evening Spa Experience' to celebrate my Mother's 75th birthday (her first spa experience ever) and it was fabulous. We loved the pool with all its jets and fountains: the treatments were wonderfully indulgent (apparently the therapist with my Mother even managed to cater to her need to chat all the way through a full body massage - thank you for that!). The food afterwards was delicious if just a little over-facing (we weren't expecting that quantity - but the quality was excellent). All in all, a fantastic time was had by all. Thank you, we feel thoroughly pampered x
