Needs a Jacuzzi
Lunch was really nice. The pool area was crowded and noisy as was the spa experience (sauna, steam room). The sauna was really drafty on the lower step area, the aromatherapy and steam rooms were cool rather than hot. One massage (from two people's experiences) was not firm enough and therapist didn't ask about this - felt as if we were on a bit of a conveyor belt with the massages. No quiet areas to relax - that we found anyway.
It was very relaxing and the treatment was excellent
Overall a good experience however the spa experience was not as good as expected. Disappointing that we were informed we were unable to drink anything (alcoholic or non) whilst in the spa facilities. Limited the amount of time we could spend there as quickly became dehydrated - no water coolers available which is unusual from other spa breaks I have been on. However the treatments were amazing - professional and friendly masseuses. There was a plumbing issue which the hotel was aware of and was out of the hotel’s control (muddy water from sink tap) however we weren’t informed of that upon arrival so received a shock. Overall the staff were friendly (with the exception of one on Reception). The food really did make the experience. The 3 course meal in the hotel restaurant was incredible!!!
Very lovely atmosphere and staff
