This was a birthday treat for my daughter.. we were greeted at the reception by a very pleasant young lady who after asking for a refundable deposit for the robes etc, pointed us in the direction of the drinks machine. We were then taken downstairs and directed to the changing room and facilities. We used the gym and had a treatment which I thought was going to be for an hour but was in fact only half hour., back massage and facial.. We had a sandwich for lunch and then spent the afternoon in the sauna .. steam room and relaxed in one of the relaxation rooms. The pool was a bit noisy and crowded so we avoided it . On the whole we had a lovely day.
Great Clean hotel, super friendly staff at reception each day, excellent massage, lovely bathroom in room, delicious breakfast. Downsides: holes and cracks in ceilings in the spa area, and poor experience at dinner - things forgotten off plates, having to get up to get attention of waiting staff, ams dessert not the dessert ordered!
Enjoyed experience overall. Staff really nice and helpful. Not sure if aroma room was working when we went as it was dark and not nice smell so didn't stay there. Didn't help us to relax baby screaming in the pool 🙈
This was my first hotel spa experience, I usually go to independent spas. The staff were excellent and the treatment was relaxing.
The changing rooms were pretty dirty and it was all looking a bit shabby. The staff were nice, though, and the massage was good.
