It was a lovely birthday treat. The staff were lovely and the treatments were great. It doesn't have the best spa facilities in the world, but they're well maintained and pleasant.
The changing rooms and pool area were extremely dirty. I spotted five large balls of hair on different parts of the changing room floor on arrival. When we sat down at the poolside our lounger and the table next to it were covered in somebody else's used tissues.
The pool area also smelt extremely unpleasant - of frying food and cooking - and over the course of the hour that we were there the smell grew more putrid and over powering.
The slippers and dressing gowns we were given were so worn out and old that mine actually had holes in it.
We were then told that our treatment would have to be postponed for an hour due to the therapist being stuck in traffic.
Very helpful staff. Peaceful atmosphere. Spa facilities enough for half a day.
The massage itself was nice but the spa area very tired, mouldy and quite messy, not a nice feeling there at all.
