I got the 1 day Spa Pass (no treatments) which was only £30. This is pretty cheap compared to other London Spas. However, as I got there it was really busy - especially the pool. And this was a Monday afternoon, not even a weekend. There were no lockers left for me to use in the Ladies changing room, so I had to call my boyfriend to put my things in the Male changing room. There were limited spaces to sit as well, struggled to find a place just to rest my towel.
The steam room (located within the changing room) felt uncomfortable as the hot droplets of condensation from the ceiling would randomly fall on you. I've not experienced that before in other Saunas, but again it was far from relaxing & I couldn't stay in there for longer than 5 mins as it hurt.
Overall, it was fun - but for me it was far from relaxing. Especially at the fact they allow kids in the pool. Kids are allowed in at certain times but as soon as they got there, I knew it was time to leave as they were screaming and shouting the whole time.
In my opinion the price I paid for the Pass was reflective in the ambience and quality. I had fun, it was OK, but I won't be returning and I am glad I didn't pay more than what I did otherwise i would be pretty annoyed.
Positives:
Staff were nice
Free fruit water and fruit
Spacious Sanarium
Nice selection of products to use in the ladies changing room
Booked to use spa facilities for day. Nice relaxing day out with friends. Got a bit busy during afternoon which is to be expected I suppose. Best jacuzzi I have ever used (very warm). Complimentary fruits was a nice touch.
I would recommend this package to my friends, perfect for a girly day out!! The spa staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed using all of the spa facilities, and the treatments were relaxing.
I went for the afternoon tea package, which was really well presented. I highly recommended that if going for the tea that you make it very clear to the staff that you have already paid via treatwell. I say this to avoid any awkwardness at the end, which is what happened to me!
We loved it! Got a really good deal on lastminute.com and arrived around 11am to be greeted with soft, comfy bathrobes and shown around the spa area. Jacuzzi was lovely, a little small but really nice nonetheless. I loved swimming lengths in their beautifully maintained chlorine-free pool, while my partner sat and relaxed on a leather sofa facing me! Overall, a really great chilled day out :)
