The overall visit was good. Just a little bit disappointed by my leg waxing. I started with one therapist abd finished with another, because the first one didn't do hollywood waxing. The therapist who started left a lot of hair in my legs and was slow. The second one (Ashley) was amazing. she simply corrected colleague's job, thanks! But as it was almost everything done, my hair has been cut and now I have hair growth already...
Whilst a bit oddly located (had to walk through the gym to get to it) totally excellent spa to rival top spas in London.
Everything was great except for double dipping which is concerning for Hollywood waxing.
Amazing! The staff were friendly and extremely welcoming. I am a wheelchair user so it is hard to find a place that is accessible and value for money but this spa has both! I arrived after a swim and my boyfriend and I were showed to separate rooms for the massages. We both agreed that the massages were great. The pressure was just right. I had so many knots and my therapist recommended that I come back monthly to maintain my muscle relaxation-which I will do! I was shown afterwards to the peaceful relaxation room and I was very pleased to hear that there is a hydrotherapy pool here. I would definitely recommend this spa to others!
You have to walk through a busy gym to get to the spa - so it started out unrelaxing. You can hear the pumping music from the gym in the spa itself. Again, very unrelaxing. To use the toilet you have to again walk through the noisy gym, into a standard gym changing room that was dirty - not the kind of facilities that you expect to use when at a spa. My deep tissue massage was good. The mani and pedi were less than average - they also took about an hour and a half. Meaning that i then had to miss my eye brow tint, and was told i had to go through treatwell to get a refund instead of them refunding me there and then. There were also 3 going on at the same time which made the space very uncomfortable and crowded, with all 3 therapists wanting to use the same products at the same time. The mani and pedi were messy and the nail varnish was very cloggy, meaning that its raised in certain areas on my nails now. They forgot about my facial, which i then needed to remind them about. The facial was then 10 minutes shorter than it should have been because the therapists hadnt timed things well enough. I should have been there for 2 hours, and ended up being there for 3.5 hours. Which isnt ideal when i had plans for the day. The staff are all very nice, however it doesnt seem like there is much organisation.
