I would not recommend this spa. You are asked to give your personal details in the health questionair, but the staff don't bother to keep it safe. I was handed a clipboard with many completed questionairs underneath mine, which means I had access to other people's addresses, DOB's, phone no's, email addresses and signatures - fraudsters' paradise! The therapy room had no furniture to hang your clothes or bags, we had to leave all our belongings on bean bags. There was nice music in the background, the sound of crashing waves and birds - would be really relaxing but for the squicking door in the next room! The treatment itself was not brilliant - I told my therapist that she was applying too much pressure but it hasn't changed anything. My back was in more pain afterwards than before and I was checking it for bruises the following day. Overall, not very satisfying :(
The Therapists, Anne, was very friendly and very good at what she does. I loved her facial and her massage techniques on my face. The algae mask smelt a bit funny, but I came out of the spa with a very plumped and moisturised face. The effect lasted til the next day and the 3rd. I would recommend this facial place.
The spa/therapy room is located in a busy leisure centre, but once you walk through the door it's much calmer. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The treatment itself was very relaxing and I quickly found myself de-stressed. I left on a high and would definitely recommend both the staff and the venue.
absolutely fantastic massage. The therapist anna was excellent, i left the spa invigorated and the most relaxed i've felt in ages. would definitly recommend. the whole ambience was 5 star, havn't a negative word to say about the place. already booked my next appointment.
Booked this on a great deal and managed to get an appointment within a few days which was fantastic. The spa is based inside Swiss cottage leisure centre, about 5 minutes walk from the tube station so very convenient. Getting upstairs to the actual spa requires going through the leisure centre's facilities and so make sure you allow a little extra time to speak to the front desk and be allowed through - when I went there was a big school group going in and I had to wait 5 minutes or so in a queue. Spa was very small but nicely decorated - there is some noise from the next door creche which can be distracting but overall I found the experience and the massage good. I would go again if another offer came up but probably would not pay full price.
