The therapist was amazing! The massage was one of the best I have had. I am a massage therapist myself so should know quality! The ambience of the room was excellent and the room was clean and very quiet.
It was my second visit to the Swiss Cottage SPA. The therapist was very professional and I felt relaxed after the treatment. My skin was very soft and smooth for a few days after the treatmnet. The therapists use Thalgo cosmetics, which is a great plus. The SPA is very clean and well managed.
Great value for money, therapist was attentive to my requests and the massage was amazingly relaxing! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Regular price list was a little price list but I noticed they had several reasonably priced offers. Would definately return!
The deal said a 55 min massage but I only got a 40 minute massage and the therapist was quite rough so it wasnt that relaxing to be honest. When I arrived I had to wait 10-15 minutes as my therapist was late, so it was a bit irritating to see people come in and get seen before me. I dont understand why they couldnt have shuffled things around so I could see the first available therapist, as the other people that had come in were Wahanda deals also. In all honesty I left there feeling more knotted up than when I went it and I had to book another massage a couple days later to get rid of the knots. However on a positive note the room itself was nice and relaxing - and all of the staff were polite. I personally wouldnt go back as the spa is too far away from me, but I would recommend it to other people in the area, as they do a lot of good services at reasonable prices. I do realise I could've caught the spa on a bad day, but this is my honest opinion of my experience on that day.
I was a little apprehensive as I approached as this spa is set within the local municipal sports centre but it is just fab and so is the centre...and the attached cafe is probably better than most cafe restaurants in London. What a find...I just wish I lived in Camden Borough as anyone who does and is still paying commercial gym rates, when fantastic gem is on their doorstep, needs their head examining! The only downside to the spa is that it doesn't have it's own loo and you need to use the one in the gym changing room (which is why I've only given it 4 out of 5 for facilities). The spa suite is pleasant and the staff are very friendly. The therapist explained what she doing throughout and asked me the right questions about allergies and injuries. She gave me the time I needed to get ready beforehand and after and the massage was just great. Highly, highly recommended!
