I can't believe how good this place was. Was v.sceptical as it was in a leisure centre but as I got a really good mobdeal for a massage on wahanda I decided to give it a try - I'm so glad I did. Really beautiful and chic it was inside - like a mayfair salon, you'd have no idea you were in a leisure centre once you head through the door. The therapist was quite simply brilliant (I think her name may have been Alex)? . My voucher was for a 55 mins & I got a full hour. Really nice oils and the bed was even heated! Couldn't recommend more highly - will book again for something else very soon as the prices without the voucher are quite reasonable for the style of salon.
Was absolutely brilliant, I love massages and these deals are just perfect. Great service, wicked price and will defo recommend. The therapist was lovely too. 5* and would, of course, come back.
In my time I have visited many spa's all over the world, including London hotel spa's. Upon my arrival at the leisure centre I was really nervous as I wasn't sure what to expect a spa in a leisure centre?? to my suprise the spa was beautiful, I entered the spa to find myself listening to softening relaxing music and essence of aromatherapy. It was as if I'd stepped into a 5* hotel spa in central London. The staff all looked fab in their uniforms, very smart! approaching me with a highly professional manner. My massage was outstanding, good flow, perfect pressure!! I have had many massages in my time but this was by far one of the best! room decor was tasteful, overall I was very impressed to have this facility within a leisure centre and right on my door step! I am planning to go back into the leisure centre to see what the other facilities are like!
Only a just over a half hour massage each when ordered 55 minutes for 2 people. Wasn't offered the choice of Aromatherapy vs Swedish massage, and felt rushed. Wouldn't do business with them again.
There was some issues when I first tried to book my treatment time. Firstly, I phoned the reservation number that was advertised on Wahanda site. The booking was confirmed by the receptionist over the telephone, then I made a second directly to the venue for further enquiry. I was told there was no booking made, very confused and worried. But, then the Spa Manager managed to sort out my booking arrangement via email.
