I was very happy with my overall experience in Spa London Swiss Cottage and would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional and i enjoyed my facial.
Definately worth the money. Would recommend anyone to grab the offer if it ever arises again. Clean, relaxing environment. Helpful staff who gave me a free consultaion after the massage about my wellbeing.
DIDN'T GET THE TIME PURCHASES AND WAS RUSHED - I bought a 55 minute package for two people - for my partner as a birthday present, thought it would be a great gift after her recently giving birth to our daughter. The package said Aromatherapy / Swedish Massage for two people - she brought her sister. Upon setting up the appointment, they were asked what type of massage they wanted, and since they didn't know what they entailed asked if they could get an explanation when they arrived and chose then, the receptionist agreed. They were never given a choice or even explained what was going on. The therapists rushed them in, and simply started the massage, they think it was "aromatherapy" but they weren't sure. They both mentioned they felt extremely rushed. The said the massage was fairly good, but when they left, my partner noticed the massage only lasted a little over a half our, and her sister for 40 minutes. They were too shy to say anything, but were disappointed. I paid a good deal extra for the longer massage and they got a shorter length of time than even the cheaper apt.... wouldn't do business with them again.
USUALLY PROBLEM TO BOOK WITH VOUCHERS BUT NO
PROBLEM HERE GOT SUNDAY APPOITMENT I WAS AFTER
AND HOUR I WANTED
THERAPIST WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND PUT ME IN EASE
STRAIGHT AWAY AND DID HER JOB WELL I DID FEEL VERY
RELAXED SHE ALSO OFFER SOME EVENTS THEY DOING
AND PRICELIST WHICH IS VERY NICE AS LOTS OF PLACES
DON'T BORDER
It was easy to book by phone and they even had time slots the weekend right after the Wahanda offer was on which was surprising as I have experienced more than once that they completely overbook with the "offer-takers".
Getting there from Swiss Cottage station is easy, however, it gets a bit confusing when you enter the leisure centre as there are no proper signs to show you the way to the spa facilities and even on the 1st floor where it is, it is quite discreet/anonymous. However, once you get in there, the receptionists are professional and welcoming.
The therapist turned up on time, introduced herself and asked whether I'd had a massage before. And even though I'd actually been a few times, she still went through the details of how much clothes to take off, how to lie on the bed etc. which I found very professional. it's nice to simply follow directions and relax from time to time.
The massage itself was pleasant and although it probably didn't take the full 55 minutes I booked for, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it if there is a similar offer up for graps in the future.
The room itself was well-furnished and relaxing - the only negative is that you can hear the doors slam outside. It is not a huge problem, but does detract from the overall feel of the otherwise nice place.
