I had a birthday voucher valid for a year for a spa treatment and also enough to access the Thermal spa which had a sauna, steam room, hydro pool and a relaxation lounge. I had a truly relaxing time and only wished I had enough time in the world to lounge there. I also enjoyed the ginger tonic drink when I was relaxing it was truly divine.
I booked my session through email and the response was very prompt with quick answers to any queries quickly booking my slot when there was availability.
Spa really nice and not busy at least time we went ( 3pm till 6pm) have one big jacuzzi and 3 saunas. Not really expensive. Recommended
Nice sent Sunday mid day here. It was quiet,lady at the reception super sweet and helpfull. I didn't took any pictures inside the Thermsl spa as at the end cane here to relax and wanted to respect the others there. Changing room bit old but fairly clean. You can find here lockers,showers,hair dryers but also GHD straighteners. You getting to use a robe,Bath towel and flip flops. The foot spa was out of order which I wasn't informed during the booking. Beside all was as expected and good quality comparing to the price
My favourite place! I recently rejoined here post pandemic and have been going most days ever since. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming as are other members. I've had two massages and they were both immensely relaxing and I intend to keep seeing Evelyn regularly as she's really helped ease tension. As for the thermal spa itself, it's well maintained, but as Better is a social enterprise things don't always get money thrown at them, so don't expect the ritz. However, when I have reported problems are usually resolved quickly and easily. Personally I love the ice machine, it's wonderful for circulation and the sauna is incredibly hot (a good thing). I also enjoy the hot tub, its wonderful to lie back and see the clouds pass by along with my worries. My home away from home :)
Quite disappointing today - I've been many times before and this time the whirlpool bath wasn't working at the start because (get this) someone forgot to switch it on! Also the foot spa has been removed - this is not part of the facilities.
