No problems with booking, friendly staff. Had a great day out with friends & the treatment was fantastic, I felt so clean & soft & relaxed would definitely go back-excellent value! :-)
The spa was easy to find and was situated in a wonderfully historic 'public pool and baths' building, which appealed to me immediately. However the spa itself is a very modern part of the building downstairs but that didn't spoil it as it was well designed and most relaxing with a great choice of thermal steam rooms and saunas and also a large, clean, well maintained recuperating and relaxing area with water and apples freely available.As for the treatment - well mine was unfortunately interrupted twice due to a faulty shower in the treatment room and the need to change rooms; much to the embarrassment of the therapist who was most apologetic. However this could not possibly reduce the 5 stars I give this treatment as it was first class, unhurried and marvellously relaxing. Best of all was the unexpected head massage while the algae wrap treatment took effect. As well as my skin feeling fantastic, I felt on top of the world when I left Spa London and I will most certainly return and recommend it to others.
This place is fantastic. A proper zen-type luxury place to relax. The various relaxation/steam/sauna rooms allow for a very pleasant three hour session that is great cleanse and recharge with your partner. The plunge pool and ice-bucket are surprisingly addictive to use and your skin feels tingly fresh when you are done. Recommended
Spa London at York Hall offers reasonable value for money even without a Wahanda offer, and with the offer that I used (£25 for use of facilities and a Thalgo marine algae facial) the vfm is exceptional. The facilities are very clean and steam room, sauna etc are of as good a quality as many more exclusive spas. The changing rooms are a little small, but perfectly adequate considering the cost. The facial was an interesting experience - a very knowledgeable and skilful therapist, and my skin looked very good afterwards - I'm just not sure I'm sold on the marine algae, which is rather pungent!
Good value for the money. On a previous occasion the voucher didn't include use of the facilities. This time it did and it was all very nice. The facilities are very clean and the staff are proficient. I would visit this place again but only with a voucher
