Nice and clean. Nice touch having the cucumber water and apples in the relaxation room. The ice chips or fountain whatever they call it was also a nice touch. Disappointing that only one steam room open because it made it very crowded. Overall good value for money if you get to use the facilities
The reception area is very nice and the smells that hits you when you enter is gorgeous, making you feel peaceful and relaxed, however you may have to wait a little while before being seen to as the spa is very popular. Once you have been given your bath robe, towel and slippers and go into the spa area you can't help but feel peaceful, the spa area is very nice and clean, the only thing missing would be a Jacuzzi, but there is so much else to do this is only a minor thing. I chose to have the 55 min Marine Algae Body Wrap which was just devine, the therapist was very warm and friendly and made my time very tranquil and relaxing, I almost fell asleep at one point. The treatment itself was fairly messy, but what would you expect from a mud wrap but the shower facilities whilst having the treatment was good and my skin felt great afterwards. I would definately recommend the treatment and the spa, it is great value for money even without a deal.
I went with a friend and we use our voucher, The spa is nice and clean. I had a body wrap which was great, it leave the skin very smooth. The therapist was friendly but a bit too abrupt and could have been a bit more gentle. Overall experience was great.
Not a nice experience. Met by a receptionist full of cold, she showed no attention. Therapist was miserable, , treatment was far from pleasant, therapist was not gentle. Made lots of noise tidying up during the "relaxing" part of treatment, in fact at end of treatment there was cleaning equipment and very dirty washing up cloth by the sink.
Arrived at York Hall, the building is lovely, and the Spa London is down some stairs in the basement. The Spa itself is very nice, everything is spotlessly clean and newly decorated. We had a voucher for a facial and the use of the facilities. The facial, though half hour behind schedule, was brilliant, and my facialist was very very good. Enjoyed the steam room, sauna and plunge pool. Great way to spend a lazy couple of hours.
