Just a rather nice, well-kept secret. I went with a few friends and we had such a lovely morning, escaping from the world. I was a bit suspicious about it initially, as I used to come swimming at York Hall years ago and so I still associate the place with stinky broken changing rooms and the sound of children screaming in a chlorinated echo chamber. But this was a 100% different experience! All soothing and calm. Like the Terminator, I will be back.
York Hall is great - such a treat. It was just quite busy when I went. I wanted to be quiet and zen out but there was loads of chatter. I know that’s not really a reflection on the spa but it was my part of my experience.... I highly recommend York Hall, I’ll just try to go at a quieter time in the future!
