Despite a glitch in the booking confirmation between SPA London and Wahanda, Shirley managed to get me in for a fantastic massage with Zen. I ran out of time after the hydro bath and have had the facial re-booked for my next visit. Overall a really lovely visit - thanks for looking after me even though you were fully booked!
Lovely manicure in nice environment with lovely staff. For a manicure it's a little light on some elements - no cuticle soaking, moisturising, cuticle oil etc so not as good value for money as other places. But gels were great, well painted and lasting well.
This is a very basic spa, nothing special at all about it. Maybe ok for short treatments like pedicure/manicure but this isn't the kind of place that makes you feel special, relaxed or pampered. Ok treatment, ok staff (just do their job without much smile or warmth), ok place (apart from music it really isn't very special at all). I don't recommend if you're hoping to have a good and relaxing time, it is cheap indeed so maybe that fits some people. I won't come back, sorry!
Amazing place and really good value for money! I am looking forward to my next visit. The relaxation area is amazing and there is food and magazines as well!
I went to Ironmonger Row Baths for the sauna and steam rooms without any treatments. The venue was very newly refurbished and clean with relaxing music and ambience. Several nice "warm" rooms leading up to the actual saunas, however one of the two saunas was out of order the day I visited. Nevertheless, the remaining sauna and the two aromatic steam rooms had a spot on size, temperature and cleanliness. To cool down afterwards were cold showers, a tropical shower, ice bucket and cold water basin. The relaxation lounge had a great atmosphere with beds, blankets, magazines and refreshments (which could have been more creative). The shower facilities were in a good condition. Staff members were around regularly to check in on customers and the refreshments, however they could have been a bit friendlier. With a voucher I only paid £15 which was perfect for the value I got, not sure if it is worth the usual price. But what it might lack in additional creative sauna facilities, it certainly makes up for in terms of cleanliness. Overall I had a very relaxing 3 hours!
