A disappointing experience. Spas should be a place for relaxation and pampering. There was loud drilling happening right off of the main spa area, and a workman in boots wandering around the shower area with no notice from spa staff. When I confronted him in my towel as it was a women-only day, he argued with me that he had a right to be there. The staff were giggling and shrieking in the spa as well, and there were some loud customers (although I realise there's not a lot staff can do about that.) One of the steam rooms was broken and the other was mildly warm. Also this is a personal taste but the music is pretty bad, with synthesised flutes and violins - they should definitely rethink their soundtrack!
It is lovely there, very good value, lovely facilities, not too busy during the time we were there. The only one issue was that we couldn't use the swimming pool, which was a shame. I would definitely go again though.
Quality of the refreshments could be improved. Let clients select clear water and flavour themselves. There were no biscuits, even wafers !!! Watermelon/ grapes more appropriate to than hard apples. What about older people?! One sauna was broken and one aroma mist room was scaldingly hot.
The steam rooms, sauna and relaxation area were good and the fact fresh fruit and herbal teas were provided was lovely. However access to the pool was excluded from the voucher price therefore I had to rate the experience lower than I would if the pool was included.
really good service. staff were great, tan was perfect (not too dark as requested). will definitely go back. Keen to try the turkish baths they have there too
