Overall a nice experience, Saunas are clean and there is a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. The moonsoon shower was out of order and they ran out of fruit and hot tea in the relaxation room.
Extremely rude staff member, a girl with red hair. They should not put such a rude person at the reception.
I have visited this spa several times and have always been impressed by the staff, cleanliness and facilities. However, on my most recent visit I was disgusted by the state of the cold plunge pool. There were hairs floating in it and an oily film on the surface of the water. Of course I didn't go in it, and this disgusting discovery made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the spa. The relaxation room was also messy and poorly maintained. There were crumbs on several beds and towels strewn all over the floor. There were also no clean glasses for water and only one tea machine had tea in it - the tea was lukewarm. One of the steam room was also out of action. I also found the staff were neither helpful or polite. They had mistakenly got my booking as 1pm and not 4pm, but no apology was made for the confusion. I will probably not be going back.
I booked treatments for my sister and a very good friend of mine who recently had a baby. Both went through a tough time especially my friend who had a difficult birth so I treated them both to the spa and treatments. I found out when I arrived to collect them and take them to dinner that my friend was not given a pedicure which I booked in advance of the spa day. She travelled into London specially for this treatment hence why I am disappointed with the spa. Overall its an Oh no! I'm afraid.
The spa treatment itself was good, however, I found the staff to be inefficient having shown up for my appointment and not having it confirmed on their system. Also, due to unclear website and brochure, it seemed the treatment I had (Rassoul Ritual Detox) had to be purchased alongside the Thermal Spa Experience. Think the worse aspect of this experience was a staff member cursing off a customer on the phone after having hung up and looking embarrassed when she noticed I was watching. Spa could've been much more improved with better customer service. I will not be returning.
Confusing experience as there were so many instructions but it was such a laugh because we didn't know what would happen. Will go again. Short staffed which was not great.
