Staff were friendly and confirmed our booking on arrival. Pool and sauna were fine, afternoon tea was disappointing all cake no sandwich. I had a facial which although was good the therapist never stopped talking about the products and price. My friend and I had bookd a rapid manicure as an extra which was confirmed on arrival but we failed to get it as there was no one available. They gave us each a free day pass as an apology.
If you are looking for a relaxing break then this isn't for you. The hotel seem to be unsure of who they are catering for, the pool area is more akin to Centre Parcs than any spa that I have ever been to with children screaming and splashing about in the pool and populating the few loungers that are provided. The small bubble pool is only switched on for a few minutes at a time by way of a timer, the thermal suite was small and cramped and the showers didn't work. We were not given the gowns and slippers as promised, there was confusion over the treatments that had been booked and we didn't receive a free gift. Our paperwork stated clearly that the check in and check out times were 14.00 and 12.00, they are not they are 15.00 and 11.00 respectively. To top it all, we slept on the hardest bed I have ever known in my life, making sleep very difficult to come by, so much for a relaxing we went home more stressed and tired than when we arrived. No thanks, we won't be returning!
Extremely good value for money. The food was amazing and of a high standard. The staff were really friendly and more than happy to help. The spa treatments and facilities were extremely good aswell. I would definatley visit this venue again. 5 stars all around.
Cannot fault our stay at this hotel, we had a spa treatment and overnight stay, the food was lovely, accommodation very clean and everything we needed. Would also like to thank the staff who were very friendly and welcoming. We will be back next year. Thank you.
