Booked this for my wife and I for the two night stay for her 40th birthday.
The restaurant was excellent and food lovely, however not impressed with the rest!
Firstly had to pay to park!
There were dirty dishes out side our room for two days!
The shower in the room was blocked, had to get room service to repair!
No clean towels, bed made or tea replacement for entire stay!
Then the spa, the battery went in the locker so had to get someone to get into the locker for me, I was soaking wet from the pool!
The pool was freezing!
The front of house staff were friendly, and restaurant staff were excellent other than that, I would not recommend... We stayed in the Holiday Inn the weekend after and it was much, much better.... For half the price!!
Not happy at the time but did not want to ruin our days away!
My first experience of a spa day and it was fantastic. Enjoyed using the facilities and the massages were amazing. The staff were friendly and made you feel comfortable. After treatments i felt so relaxed.
The only little criticism of the whole day was while having treatments the chill out cd kept skipping but cos the massage was so good that was easily forgotten about.
Would return and recommend to others
everything else besides the spa was good. spa treatments were rushed and the pool dirty. lots of debris on the bottom of the pool. complained to staff who waived parking charge. this was supposed to be a relaxing treat for my wife but the spa treatments were anything but.
