Very stylish facilities with great steam and sauna options. The pool has water therapy options (power waterfall, bubbles etc.) and isn't designed for swimming lengths. The massage therapists were fantastic.
Spa Verta itself is clean, modern and has some great facilities. Unfortunately, it's let down by its staff and the treatments. I'm not sure if we visited on a bad day, but the staff seemed inexperienced and uninterested. My boyfriend had a whole body massage which he found incredibly unpleasant and ended up sore and bruised the next day. I had a taster facial which was ok and opted for the anti stress back massage too. Unfortunately it was poor and not at all as advertised. The description states that the back, legs and feet would be massaged once the mud was applied but this was not the case. The therapist practically just stroked my hair. She also left the room inexplicably about 3 times without saying anything, which I found unsettling. Overall, I don't feel like I've had a massage so may as well have thrown £65 down the drain!
Had a great time at Spa Verta. Facilities were clean and well stocked with towels, dressing gowns , cold drinking water all available and topped up. Spa area was clean, only a few other people using the spa at the same time so could relax in the pool with different jets. Steam room was a bit too hot but sauna and sanarium were great! Also heated chairs to relax on in between and ice and tropical rain showers. Back, neck and shoulder massage was excellent, asked for medium pressure and the therapist got it just right, also relaxation room after was great with herbal tea, dried fruit and magazines. Spa isn't massive and a bit out of the way in Battersea but facilities are great, would definitely recommend!
