The most amazing massage I've had! The spa facilities were good, but could have done with being a little bigger...but for most of the time it was just us there so great value or money. The afternoon tea was spot on too.
Venue, staff and facilities were amazing. The service in the restuarant was a little slow, however the food more then made up for it.
Highly recommended, this is my second time there and i would definately go back
Great day, i had a day booked with my partner with 2 treatments. Spa is very beautiful, Great atmosphere, maybe some light music could be played. I wish on arrival we had been offered some kind of welcome drink like a tea for example. Treatments were amazing and very professional. Great value for money!
The spa facilities were really nice and the spa staff were very friendly.
Three things would have made the experience even better 1) there wasn't a direct line to the spa and the answer phone wasn't always on, so I had to ring the hotel staff multiple times to book the treatment, and the hotel reception staff I spoke to were not very helpful 2) the ladies changing room is a little small and 3) more free refreshments in the spa area would have been nice - only water was available.
The hotel felt very exclusive and up-market and we were even offered a reduced upgrade which was great. The room was perfect other than the air conditioning which kept on turning on really high during the night. The spa was absolutely fantastic - great facilities and we also enjoyed a really decent spa treatment as part of the deal. The real negative which has brought this score down was the restaurant and food. Despite its great location the restaurant seemed incoherent with the rest of the hotel, the tables and decor were odd and the food was well below the standard you might expect. The menu was very basic, we had to send back a mackerel terrine as it was packed full of fish bones, both of our main courses - fish and beef were well over-cooked and dry and the dessert was extremely sour. The wine list was over-priced and sub-standard. Breakfast was also a disappointment.
