Spa Verta is a hidden treasure. The staff are amazing, the facilities are top notch and the atmosphere is supremely relaxing. The spa is small but perfectly formed. Upon arrival I was greeted by a smiley receptionist and led into the relaxation area which contains very cosy chaise longues and lots of little candles which really added to the atmosphere. It was also well equipped with magazines, water, lots of types of tea and even apples! I had a 25 minute back massage (my masseur was Marco) which was my first massage from a man and definitely the best back massage I've had - he was very friendly, asked me questions beforehand to gauge my needs, and really released all the knots in my back. He also checked at a few points that I was happy which I definitely was. The treatment room was also very nice - spacious, with a wardrobe for your belongings. The lights were dimmed during the treatment which made it even more relaxing and the room was surrounded with candles and lovely music. The other facilities are down in the basement (do be careful not to accidentally go into the carpark like I did!). There's a small but very high tech gym, a sauna, steam room, sanarium, hydrotherapy pool and loungers. I loved the sanarium as it's not too hot so very relaxing, I even had a little two minute snooze. The hydro pool did seem a little cold but was nice enough! I also really enjoyed my glass of prosecco in the Vertilon restaurant which overlooks both the Thames and the heliport and again the staff were really friendly. I highly recommend a visit to Spa Verta for any Londoners in need of a chillout day without travelling miles.
The Spa is impeccably clean, quiet, peaceful and well equipped in providing a period of respite from the pressures of city life. The dim lighting, heated beds and tranquility forced me to relax. My therapist was attentive, skilled and soothing. I floated home.
We went as a group, I had the foot exfoliation and massage which was great. I liked the chill out area with proper beds you can snuggle down into. Free teas and water freely available which was a a nice touch. The heated chairs in the wet spa area are great, The rainfall showers were lovely too. The venue is a bit out of the way, and not particularly easy to find, Once there there is a real sense of luxury. We had a hot chocolate in the bar overlooking the Thames which was super.
great place with the spa in the basement which meant it was nice and dark with a lovely ambience created by the low lighting. we were lucky to be the only people there tho it was a monday afternoon. lovely end to the day sipping prosecco looking over the river by the heliport!
It took a while to find the spa as TFL gave me the wrong bus details to catch, the staff at the spa were very understanding and helped guide us to the hotel and was able to reschedule our appointments for later in the day. The spa was very clean and ambience was perfect for a relaxing Sunday. Before my treatment we were taken to a relaxation area where we could help ourselves to drinks, I went for the radiance facial and my therapist was very friendly. To top off the day, we had a complimentary glass of prosecco and nibbles at the hotel bar and enjoyed the remainder of the day watching helicopters land and take off. My only criticism was that the sauna was not hot enough, but that is only minor.
