My friend and I had a wonderful morning using the spa facilities followed be a nice light lunch. My back massage was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.
A good no frills pamper morning. I enjoyed the massage, very relaxing. Unfortunately there was an aqua aerobics class during our potential swimming time. We did join in otherwise we would have struggled to swim. I found the staff on the desk abrupt, which I thought was a shame. The crisps with my sandwich were stale but my sandwich itself was tasty. The towels and bath robe were soft and comfortable. The slippers were a welcome extra touch too.
My partner and I went for the Sunday Night Spa Break. Hotel was nice, but a little dated in parts, and didn't have the feel of a 4* hotel. Room was clean and of a good size, no complaints. Breakfast and dinner were average. Spa facilities were OK, but there were children in the pool area, and swimming lessons taking place all afternoon. Enjoyed using the steam room and sauna, both were kept at a good temperature. Would have been nice to have more chairs/loungers around the pool, and a more accessible water cooler - only noticed it the day after, when we were in the cafe area. We both had the aromatherapy massage, and were offered a double room, which was a nice touch. Massage was pleasant, but nothing special. Overall, good value, but probably wouldn't return, I've stayed in better hotels and had better treatments elsewhere.
