The massage was lovely, as were the staff. However, the spa facilities were not what I expected for the price. The changing rooms were small and unloved, the sauna was tiny and tucked away inside the changing rooms.
I visited the Spa with my friend as a treat. The staff were lovely and treatments by Lynn and Marlene were lovely and good value for money.
Awful facilities and very dirty. No treatments available but were offered free use of the spa instead. Jacuzzi steps were covered in a green slimey substance and there was a plaster on the side along with a cigarette butt. Pool was freezing and showers were cold. Shouldn’t be offering spa days when they don’t have the facilities to offer anything.
lovely hotel, the spa could be bigger but the massage & afternoon tea were great & the staff were all very helpful.
My booking wasn't registered on their system. The treatments were described as a manicure and pedicure they were a quick file and rushed polish which was badly applied and still sticky and smeared after 4 hours of being applied. Very expensive for quality of treatments. I made a complaint at the venue and when treatwell followed this complaint up the venue denied ever receiving a complaint. I'm still waiting for a full refund. Treatments were described as luxurious which they weren't and the showers were dirty and hairdryers broken.
