Whilst the venue is small and a little cramped - the service is fantastic and the location and opening times are super convenient for any ladies out there in Central London!
The lady who did the manicure was sweet, understanding and explained each step of the process well. I am incredibly pleased with the results and will definitely return :)
Splash Charing Cross was a very disappointing experience. I got there and the therapist directed me to a tiny beauty room where wax is performed with limited head height (and I am not tall at all!). Instead of the comfortable armchairs and foot sink characteristic to usual pedicure treatments, I was told to sit in the most uncomfortable swivel chair possible and to place my feet in a portable foot sink (like the cheap ones you can purchase online, etc). Having back problems this was a very uncomfortable experience for me. The water was not even warm and I couldn't feel any product there (albeit I did see the therapist placing something which looked like liquid soap). The therapist did her best to made me comfortable and in all honesty it's not at all her fault the conditions at this salon are so BAD (after all, she is not the manager). She barely had space to sit herself in the tiny tiny room where the pedicure was performed. I just wanted to get out of there and didn't catch the manager on site to have a word. I will not recommend the pedicure on this Splash salon based purely on the conditions (not on the therapist, which I do recommend as she did her best to make me enjoy the treatment - which I did not).
Clearly this salon just tried to squeeze in pedicures in the tiniest room possible with absolutely no conditions. Considering also the price paid I was expecting much better service and conditions. Will not recommend the pedicure in this salon nor will I return. What a rip off!
My manicure lasted the full two weeks and I really liked the staff. The service area is small and cramped and teh color selection is okay. It is not a luxurious setting but great value for money.
My therapist did her best in a tiny cramped room but to me, she seemed overworked and overstretched. Splash salons give such great value but it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth when this seems at the expense of hard-pressed therapists. A 2-hour appt delivered in 1 hour 5 minutes may suit some but not for me.
