I booked in for a Brazilian hot wax at the Charing Cross Branch, I was then called to say that they had over booked and could I go to the Soho branch - they are pretty close so this wasnt a problem although if people dont know the area it is may be quite inconvenient.
The lady that did my wax was lovely, however the wax was neither quick nor painless - perhaps the most painful wax I have ever had. The woman wasnt doing anything wrong per se - she just seemed to be quite slow and rough with it. Painful and time consuming is not a good combination.
I was drawn in by the price and you do get what you pay for. Not recommended if you are used to paying more for a quick and (relatively) pain free experience.
Great haircut. The loud techno music and constant trail of people coming in/out of the front door meant i'm scoring it 1/5 on ambience, but if your only concern is the job they do with your hair, then highly recommend it.
the venue is quite hectic and you have to wait upstairs where there is the queue of people waiting for the haircut. disco music. the staff is very busy. the room for beauty treatments is in the basement. very tidy but clean. silvia was very professional and competent, so the waxing was well done. overall I wouldn't recommend the place if you wish to relax and treat yourself, but it is quick and reasonable value for money.
The therapist who was supposed to do my body massage was away so they called a hairstylist instead! I am sure that explains what kind of my experience I have had. I have not only wasted my money but also my time and energy.
Salon was very busy when I arrived but staff were really friendly. Shellac manicure was brilliant, completely flawless. Was able to book online for an appointment on the same day in the evening - really useful.
