Can't complain too much for the price I paid and the overall wax was ok in that most hair was removed but therapist was pretty surly, the place looks a bit dodgy and the treatment room wasn't very private. The door to the room is a wobbly sliding door and you were pretty exposed to anyone in the corridor as the therapist entered and left the room.
I went with a friend for a massage here. The massage therapist was good and did the job really well. I have only good things to say about her, she was really friendly and my friend agreed she was great.
The only thing that let it down was the venue itself. The techno music was so loud that I could hear it above the music in the room. The massage room is also under some stairs and the staff were charging up and down making loads of noise which was quite distracting and ruined the experience.

I had a really nice therapist. Fast and a good job. The place put me off at first because it's cramped but no complaints at all. There was no awkwardness either.

decided to go to splash after looking at prices on wahanda and trying to call several other salons which were more local, who were all fully booked.
got to splash which is a tiny salon, rammed full of people waiting for haircuts and looking worried at what they were letting themselves in for! as others have mentioned - insanely loud music with stylist yelling over it to their customers. v nerve-racking! i wonder how many people get the wrong cut owing to the fact their stylist didn't hear them properly!
my beautician, martina, came over and took me downstairs to the beauty room, where it was slightly less loud. no air-con or windows though, which meant this tiny, halogen lit room was absolutely boiling! i was genuinely dripping by the time i left, hair stuck to head and everything - not ideal!
during the treatment, martina was very quick, seemingly efficient, and did not cause much pain at all. i felt she knew exactly what she was doing. she was polite and friendly too, but not much - i don't really like it when beauticians ask me heaps of personal questions when i am trying to concentrate on coping with the pain! so i thought it had gone pretty well - martina did not leave the room after or before for me to get changed (like every other beautician in every other salon i've ever been to does) so i didn't get a chance to inspect her work.
when i got home about an hour later and had a look, i couldn't believe it!
there were still lots of big chunks of wax stuck to me, which i had to pull off myself - ouch! not to mention the 'strip' left when doing a brazilian - it's so off centre it looks like a blind person has done it! also there plenty of random patches here and there that she has just ignored.
unbelievable - i thought £23 was a good price, but as i'm going to have to pay at least that again to get someone else to finish it, it really isn't! and i mean it is that bad - i wouldn't be able to live with this for the next month or so.
