Best waxing in London! Best thing is that I couldn't arrive on time to my appointment and the staff at Splash Goodge street just re booked me another one! Amazing people! Thanks
I paid for a cut blow dry and hair treatment for £32 on Wednesday 10th December. The cut was shocking, one side shorter than the other, one side had layers and the other side was thick and long. The blow dry took an hour, the stylist had panicked and used half a can of hairspray to flick it out so I couldn't notice her error. The next day I received negative feedback from my friends and family as the haircut was really really bad. I called up head office to voice my concerns, the company director, RICKY was very defensive and rude. He told me the stylist has worked for the salon for 2 years and had never received a complaint. He then joked and said he could not magically grow my hair back. At this point I was really annoyed and asked for my hair to be fixed ASAP. So I turned up today (Friday 12th December) for the manager (Francesco Pandurino) to fix the mess. He was really aggressive and had clearly stated that the stylist had cut my hair wrong. I asked if he would wash, cut and blow dry my hair and he said no he will only cut. Again he was very rude and then he started speaking in italian about me to his colleagues not knowing that I could understand everything he was saying. I had then questioned him and said in order to get the cut accurate he had to wash my hair. This was the worst wash I have ever experienced in my life. He splashed water across my face did not wash my hair properly and spent the whole time moaning about me to his colleagues. He told me I would have to pay for the blow dry, at this point I was fuming. Again I challenged him and he lied and said he would need to speak to his manager (even though he was the manager) he confirmed that his manager said no. I could not believe he lied to me as head office confirmed he was the store manager as did his business card. Absolutely disgusted with his behaviour and the overall experience. I still cannot believe I was charged for the blow dry and the lies he told. Overall I spent £47 on the worse service ever. I will be reporting this salon and will ensure every networking site is aware of the dishonest, aggressive, disgusting service received. Save yourself, your hair and your money.
A great treatment, as always! Really friendly staff, fantastic job and I always feel relaxed - all round a great wax.
My experience was very average unfortunately. I think my therapist spoke maybe 5 words to me the whole time, never at one point explained what was going on, or took a moment to assess my skin or advise me on products I should/could use. It was lucky I had had micro before as if I had not, I would have felt rather uncomfortable not having the treatment explained to me. To be fair my skin is somewhat smoother today but there is no significant change as I would usually have when I have had micro in the past. The therapist left me in the room and did not come back so I had to let myself out and there was no discussion regarding after care. A bit of a let down actually as I had heard good things.
Went in for a classic manicure but ended up going for shellac which looks amazing! Never been happier with a manicure in London. Rosa is very, very thorough but looking left and right at the other girls I could see they're all very good. Definitely going back for more!
