Was all a bit rough...afterwards my cuticles became quite red..and just very sensitive. The manicurist went a bit overboard with the cuticle cutting to be honest.
I recently had a haircut at this salon. I was reasonably pleased with the overall cut I had, but felt a bit pressured into having a treatment which cost me £5 extra, especially when you've just had your hair washed & you're still hanging over the basin. The hairdresser, I felt, did not exactly give me his full attention when cutting & was distracted everytime the door opened, or a member of staff walked by. And I actually had to ask to have my fringe cut!! Would I go back there? Maybe for a walk-in trim, but probably not for a wash, cut, blow dry as I like it to be a relaxing enjoyable treat for me, which, to be honest, I did not feel this was...might try another branch next time.
I had a shellac manicure and i was very satisfied with the treatment and with the overall experirence. The place is very clean, the beauticians very nice and all staff members were polite, smiley and friendly. I really enjoyed it and am definitely coming back!
Had a normal file and polish with Sandra. Sandra is always friendly yet professional and she always does the job with a smile on her face. The manicures lasted a week now :)
The salon is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The staff are kind and smile at you...a rare thing it seems in beauty salons! The job they do with a shellac manicure is properly thorough, they are real perfectionists and won't let you leave until it's perfect which is just what I rate in a salon...they care about how it looks as well as I do. Wish there was better range of colours but I don't think shallac make that broad a range yet. I have actually bought my own shellac kit but continue to go to Splash despite this because they do such a good job and it's excelletn value for how long it lasts- wish there were more offers for shellac pedicures as I don't feel I can stretch to that cost!
