I start my review off with the fact that I was late for my appointment as I had gone to the wrong Splash salon. My fault but both salons were friendly and helpful in helping me find my way.
On arrival a member of staff promptly asked if I wanted a drink (which was nice as I was hot and sweaty from running from salon to salon).
Goga was my hair colourist / cutter and she was very sweet and made me feel comfortable leaving my hair in her hands. The last person who coloured my hair had really over bleached it and it was in a terrible state. Goga took that into consideration and didn't overdo it with the bleach and managed to incorporate the colour that was already in my hair with the colours she was putting in. She did a really great job and I love the colour, adding honey tones to my hair as she put it - which scared me as I like my hair BLONDE but she managed to make it look very blonde while also looking natural. She was also a quick worker - I have a lot of hair and it usually takes 3 hours or so hours to colour my hair but she managed a colour and trim in that time without breaking a sweat or being rushed. She was fine with the fact that I had only 3 hours for her to work in due to my babysitter leaving at 4!
I asked for just a straight around trim which was very straight forward and she gave me what I asked for.
All around I give her five out of five stars and I would definitely have her do my hair again.
As for the salon, it was clean and all of the staff were friendly. There were a lot of regulars popping in and out just to say hello and even people coming in telling the staff how much they loved their haircuts.
The salon itself was very trendy and high tech (they had mini touch screen computers at all the stations). I hated the music, but it was the same music that they play in every salon all over the Western world so I can't really fault my experience!
Great experience for someone who has a phobia of salons and getting their hair done as I do.
