I recently had an appointment booked on the 11th of September at 14:10 for an express shellac manicure with take off and I'm very disappointed with the service I received. I had gel nail polish that had to be taken off and the manicurist did this in a damaging and very painful way. She filed down the polish and a lot of my nail using a really large grained nail file which damaged not only my nail but the upper parts of my fingers as well to the point where they are red, swollen and beginning to scab. She also used the same file to shorten my nails which made them break because, once again, the grain of it was too large. Additionally when buffing my nail and cutting my cuticles the manicurist scraped my skin, causing painful abrasion on my fingers and bleeding cuts on five of my fingers. She also used acetone over these raw areas a couple of times even when I said it was painful.The process of taking off my polish and prepping the nails took around 50 minutes. On top of that the polish was applied sloppily. Overall, this was a really unfortunate experience.
Had a good express shellac here, very efficient although they did not have any red colours available. Shaping of nails was a little uneven in places but was pretty happy with it overall.
