I got a pedicure yesterday from Splash yesterday, for which I thought would be a nice relaxing treat on my lunch break, and the experience was much less than ideal.
The foot bath was dirty and not clean when she started filling up the water. Then, when the technician was using the foot buffer for calluses, she was so rough that I had to ask her to stop multiple times. However, the damage was already done and the skin on both of my feet became cut. It's to the point that it's now uncomfortable wearing shoes because the skin is so raw that it hurts every time I move.
Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the service and won't be returning to Splash in the near future.
Pedicure
Usually I come out with great looking nails but on this occasion I was not happy. Firstly I specifically booked someone I have used before, and when I arrived I was given someone else. I appreciate this can happen and unavoidable but it would have been good to know beforehand so I could have had the option to cancel. I booked in to get the shellac ahead of a trip away to Venice for my anniversary, I wanted my nails to look fab, instead they look shabby and the varnish was smudged on several on my nails. It didn't look great. Overall not impressed.
